Session Overview:
This session focuses on identifying and resolving system performance issues within PeopleSoft applications. Attendees will learn practical techniques for tuning both the application stack and database layer to improve system responsiveness and stability.
Approximately one-third of the session will cover tuning the application stack—such as web and application servers—while the remaining two-thirds will dive into identifying slow-running SQL and strategies for improving performance through re-coding, indexing, and database-level optimizations. While the session is designed to be database- and system-agnostic, most examples will reference Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server environments.
