SOME OF OUR SUPPORTED ORGANIZATIONS

New Resources Consulting is passionate about giving back through the NRC Foundation. We value positively contributing to the community that we call home however we can, whether that’s through volunteering or donations. Check out some of our supported organizations below.

Hashtag Midwest

NRC provides sponsorship for Hashtag Midwest, a podcast dedicated to educating its audience about the midwest’s vibrant cities, hard-working and inventive workforce, incredible educational institutions, storied sports franchises, or the surplus of world-renowned leaders and companies that were shaped right here. 

hunger task force

NRC’s employees volunteer at the Hunger Task Force, Milwaukee’s only Free & Local food bank, and Wisconsin’s anti-hunger leader. Hunger Task Force does not charge local pantries for food, delivery, or network membership fees. 

Milwaukee Rep Development

NRC donates to the Milwaukee Rep, which ignites positive change in the cultural, social, and economic vitality of its community by creating world-class theater experiences that entertain, provoke, and inspire meaningful dialogue among an audience representative of Milwaukee’s rich diversity.

Variety Wisconsin

NRC’s golf event provides donations to Variety, a multi-faceted organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children with physical or developmental special needs and their families. 

best buddies of wisconsin

The NRC Foundation raised money for Best Buddies of Wisconsin through donations, table sponsorships, and volunteer events. Best Buddies International is an organization dedicated to creating opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Sojourner Family Peace Center

NRC sponsors the Sojourner Family Peace Center’s “Be the Light” event, which raises money to support crisis response, system advocacy, and healing services to help survivors build lives free from abuse. Sojourner Family Peace Center is the largest nonprofit provider of domestic violence prevention and intervention services in Wisconsin.

MACC Fund

NRC arranged a sponsored golf outing, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the MACC Fund. The MACC Fund’s goal is to find a cure for childhood cancer and related blood disorders by providing funding for research.

Camp Chippewa for Boys

Founded in 1935 by Otto “Cap” Endres and Helen “Mom” Endres, Camp Chippewa has long been a place for boys to learn, grow, and explore the world around them amidst the Minnesotan wilderness. NRC has paid for several students to attend this incredible camp.

NRC Foundation

EMPLOYEE FUNDRAISING/TRUST DONATIONS/IN MEMORIAM DONATIONS

NRC is honored to have a generous staff that creates, donates, or matches funds for GoFundMe campaigns that benefit an employee. We have also donated to family trusts, based on circumstances, and made donations to groups based in the memory of our employees.

I.C.STARS

NRC sponsors the golf outing that SIM (Society for Information Management) hosts in Chicago every year to benefit i.c.stars.  i.c.stars identifies, trains, and jump-starts technology careers for low-income young adults who, although lacking access to education and employment, demonstrate extraordinary potential for success in the business world and for impact in their communities.

Waukesha Food Pantry

The FOOD Pantry Serving Waukesha County provides food, hope, and dignity to county residents in need, and advocates to increase awareness of hunger through community partnerships. NRC provides funds for Thanksgiving turkey donations, which are distributed to community members in need. 

ALZHEIMER’S ASSOCIATION

NRC sponsors the Alzheimer’s Association, which leads the way to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County

NRC is sponsoring the United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County’s CIO event in February 2023. This organization changes lives and improves our community by mobilizing people and resources to drive strategic impact in health, education, and financial stability.

The Women’s Fund of Greater Milwaukee

The Women’s Fund of Greater Milwaukee is a community foundation working to grow our endowment to ensure there are always resources available to strategically support initiatives to advance equity for women and girls. 

CASA of Brown County

NRC sponsored the “CASA Presents… A Night of Hope” Gala in Green Bay. CASA volunteers build special relationships with abused and neglected children under court protection through regular visits and advocate exclusively on their behalf in monthly court reports. ​

Prevent Blindness Wisconsin

NRC sponsors Prevent Blindness Wisconsin, a nonprofit that provides free, direct sight-saving services. Through donations, this organization prevents blindness by identifying early signs of vision disorders, facilitating early and effective treatment, and preventing eye injury.

UPAF | New Resources Consulting

United Performing Arts Fund

NRC proudly supports the United Performing Arts Fund, a nonprofit that funds 55 diverse local performing arts organizations. Through UPAF, these organizations produce inspiring performances, confident youth, and shared experiences that bring people together.

MRM | New Resources Consulting

Mission Wisconsin Rescue

NRC proudly provided school supplies to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission, an organization that serves the needs of homeless and hurting men, women, and children in our community.

Christian Yelich's Home Plate Charity Benefit | New Resources Consulting

Christian Yelich’s Home Plate

NRC and community partners attended Christian Yelich’s Home Plate Charity Benefit to raise funds for local sports leagues in SE Wisconsin. NRC participated as a table sponsor, and at the end of the event, the benefit raised $325,000.

The University of Wisconsin Foundation

The University of Wisconsin Foundation supports scholarships, building projects, research efforts, and the initiatives of specific schools, colleges, and programs. NRC is passionate about supporting these initiatives.

Boy Scouts of America

Several children of NRC employees are Scouts, and we make an effort to support their projects whenever possible. The Boy Scouts of America prepares young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

NRC donated toward Pathways High’s annual fundraiser, which supports their project-based learning goals. At Pathways High, students’ success is assessed by their performance in real-world projects, which creates successful, independent decision-makers.

NRC donated toward Big Bend Elementary School’s annual fundraiser that was dedicated to refurbishing their playground to upgrade equipment, expand offerings, and make it more accessible to all students.

NRC sponsors the American Society for Deaf Children. ASDC supports parents of children who are deaf or hard of hearing by offering mentoring, advocacy, resources, and collaborative networks.
