With 25 years of continuous support for a single higher education client, Sheila has built a reputation rooted in trust, consistency, and genuine care. She’s a cornerstone of NRC’s Campus Solutions work, and her humility, warmth, and dedication are just a few of the reasons we are proud to call her part of the ESG team.
We caught up with Sheila to learn more about her role, her journey, and a secret family tradition that will either make you hungry—or raise an eyebrow.
What is your job title?
Senior Business Analyst
Beyond your title, how would you describe what you do at NRC and for your clients?
I mostly support the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions modules, including security. I have supported Campus Solutions at one client for 25 years and have built a network of colleagues at various higher education institutions over the years.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
I love what I do, and I hope to continue working with NRC for many years to come.
What accomplishments are you most proud of?
I am proud that I can consistently find ways to meet client needs within PeopleSoft Campus Solutions without requiring many customizations. I keep clients up to date on PUMs and patching.
How have you grown professionally at NRC?
I consider myself to be very introverted, and I feel as though I have outgrown some of those tendencies to accomplish my goals.
What challenges have you faced, and how did you overcome them?
Shuffling multiple clients can be challenging when deadlines overlap. My time management skills need my attention, as it is hard for me to say no. 😉
What do you enjoy most about working for NRC?
The people I work with are awesome, and I know I can count on them if I need anything, whether work-related or personal. They are truly family to me.
Tell us something most people don’t know about you?
I hold the Wall Family secret souse meat recipe and still fix it yearly for my parents and siblings. Neither my husband, children, nor grandchildren will touch it, but they’re all entertained by the process.
